Onboarding With Night Dispatch

Onboarding With Night Dispatch

The start of a new year usually comes with strategic planning, discussing growth and how to maintain it, and putting together a solid plan of action. Oftentimes, this brings up a need to have more people on your team, but that may not always be attainable. That’s where Night Dispatch comes in! Our dispatchers and staff can be thought of as an extension of your own team, and we are able to fill the gaps you may have to help you reach your goals.

Bringing on a team of people to help with freight tracking and dispatching may seem daunting, but we’re here to clear up that misconception. If you’re ready to take this next step, we’re ready to get started! Once we have a discovery call with a potential new client and assess their needs and current processes, we’re ready to onboard in as little as one to two weeks. So, what will this take from you?

Training

In the beginning stages, we need to learn everything there is to know about how you operate, as well as learn your TMS if we aren’t already familiar. This will take a little bit of training up front from our clients to get our team prepared. We also gather all of your standard operating procedures so we can become as familiar as possible with your company.

Because we were able to have such a thorough review up front, we will then take over training from there. Any time we need to bring on a new dispatcher to assist with your after-hours freight, our team is prepared to train them. Clients will not need to spend time training their after-hours team again, unless there is a new software program we need to be familiar with. That alone will free up your time, but it’s not the only thing we will be taking off your plate.

Benefits of Working with Night Dispatch

Along with training, working with Night Dispatch will ensure you won’t need to worry about the following for your after-hours team:

  • Recruiting
  • Employee retention
  • Benefits
  • Coverage for sick days
  • Vacation time

We take the entry-level hassle away so your team can focus on the tasks that make your company money, such as recruiting and retaining the positions that offer a higher ROI. A broker or dispatcher isn’t able to focus on getting new customers and loads if they are spending half of their day dealing with shipment tracking and/or issues. Luckily, that’s what we specialize in.

Another key benefit is that our team is 100% U.S. based and only handles freight. This means that you will always have high quality, immediate communication with us when needed, and our team will be laser focused on ensuring your freight is where it needs to and when.
